WordPress Carrington Themes

After much struggling with making edits to a nifty looking theme for WordPress that uses the Carrington platform, I would completely advise against using these themes if you plan on making changes to them for SEO purposes or whatever else reason. It’s so far from WordPress convention it’s not even funny. In order to change a simple H2 tag to H1, I had to download a file, change and re-upload instead of doing quick changes via the builtin editor. It’s almost impossible to control how content is displayed on front page versus on a single post page. So you end up with either H1 tags all over your front page or without any and only H2 tags on your single post pages. Go find some other theme if you find that your current one using Carrington and you’re trying to make changes and don’t know why all the tutorials you’ve seen for WordPress doesn’t work.
